Michael (Mike) James Khreim – Information Sought Michael (Mafit) James Khreim was born in Palestine circa 1932. He was also known as Mike Khreim. Mike arrived in the USA from Jordan (I previously believed that he had served in the Jordanian army, although this appears to be incorrect) probably in the early to mid 1960s. He is believed to have one brother and three sisters. Their names are possibly: Mustafa, Fatima, Samira and Mafita. While the whereabouts of Mike's siblings is unknown, at least one of their children resides in the US – last known to be in Florida. Soon after arriving in the USA, Mike Khreim married a Marjorie Brooks. This marriage was relatively short-lived. During the mid-60s Mike Khreim operated (with an Omar Choukri) an electronic repair store on Bell Boulevard, Bayside, New York.
In May 1967, Michael James Khreim married Kathleen Margaret Larsson of Queens, New York. Mike then moved with Kathleen to Phoenix Arizona. In 1970, Mike Khreim emigrated to Australia with his wife and two daughters, settling in Toowoomba, Queensland. Having produced a further five children – four girls and one boy – in 1985 Mike again moved the family to the US, returning to reside in Phoenix AZ. However, for various reasons, after just under a year Mike once again moved his family back to Toowoomba, Queensland Australia. In 1991, Michael Khreim produced another son bringing the number of offspring to eight.
His seven children (one deceased) continue to reside in Toowoomba.
One of Michael's children is seeking information regarding her father’s life prior to his arrival in the USA in the 1960s. She is particularly keen to establish contact with, and possibly meet with, his siblings, other relatives or past acquaintances.
